I have been involved with the Business Improvment Association for the past 20 years. Eaglewood Specialty Products opened the same year the BIA was established and during that time, my business and I have been involved at all levels of the organization. As business owner here on Main Street, I fell I have benefited tremindously from being a member of Business Fredericton North. Being a member of BFN has given me excellent opportunities for networking with the many business after hours that are held on a regular basis. I remember four years ago when my store was destroyed by fire, that morning one of the first people to approach me and offer help and support, was Trina MacDonald (General Manager of BFN). This just showed me how close BFN are with their members and how much they care about our well being and success. I am very happy to be a part of this great association.

Business Fredericton North has been a valuable and resourceful partner to our hotel for several yearsl It's comforting to know that I can call on Trina and her staff about anything and know I will get an informed, factual and prompt reply! The asset this organization is to the northside business community, in my opinion, is often unrecognized and maybe even under appreciated but they have become true ambassadors of the northside and as a result, a force in Fredericton to be reckoned with. The business community on this side of the river has certainly grown and is about to explode to even greater proportions! I think a large part of that is due to the wonderful representation we get from Business Fredericton North. The Ramada is very happy to be an associate partner with this organization and we hope to continue the partnership for many years to come.

I purchased a building and set up business on main Street 5 years ago. BFN made us feel so welcome right from the beginning. I have taken advantage of computer training, help with finding the right staff and have hosted and attended many Meet and Greets. These get togethers are a good way to get to know other buiness ownners on the Northside and discuss common problems that mey occur and they are a wonderful way to promote your own business. It puts my mind at ease to know that BFN is looking out for my business' best interests in developing a Northside that we can work, live and play in.
