BFN Enbridge Summer Concert Series - August 21, 2008

The BFN Enbridge Summer Concert Series began on June the 11th and will be ending with Garaj Mahal on August 27th! This summer has been a great year for excellent performances, and although there have been a few cancellations due to the weather- there is no doubt that this summer has been a great success! We hope you have all enjoyed the great entertainment and that you continue to join us in the years to come!

Also, We Can Too has participated in a few of our blues music nights. She has been there allowing the children at the concerts to finger paint along with the music in different shades of blue. We thank her very much for her paticipation in our concerts!

This summers lineup is as follows:

Cancellations: Our rain date is, as always, the following Monday (weather permitting). In the event of a cancellation the radio stations 92.3 and 106.9 will be notified and will make announcements. Also, a sign advertising the cancellation will be placed next to the ampitheatre. We apologize for any inconvenience that any cancellations may cause.
Also, in the event of a cancellation of both the original concert date and the raindate, we will attempt to reschedule the performers concert for another Monday. We will keep you posted on these potential performers.

Community Events

The Business Fredericton North works hard to engage the community with the various events we coordinate and fund. Events such as the Summer Concert Series, Dave Hawkins Memorial Golf Tourney and Main Street Christmas Tree Lighting are designed to enhance our sence of community and promote Fredericton North as a focus for activity and events.

The community calander allows BFN Business Members the ability to be aware of BFN events as soon as they are scheduled. It allows provides the public with information on BFN supported events for the community.
